Events

The Glen Innes Motorsports Club stages regular events for members and others in the community who wish to take part. These include cruises to local destinations, a Christmas lights run, taking part in nearby motoring club events and poker runs.

The Club stages one major event per year. This is what we call the ‘Triple Challenge’ Show and Shine and is traditionally held in October each year. This event showcases cars, motorcycles and trucks and draws entrants from far and wide. The event has free admission for spectators and has a variety of others who partner with us to stage this event. These includes the Men’s Shed markets, food outlets and face painting and other activities for children. The ‘Triple Challenge’ is truly a community event and continues to grow as more and more partners join us.

The Club is currently investigating how we can stage other motor sports related events, including drag racing on hard surface and soft surface and motorkhana’s which will be designed to test entrants skills in car and throttle control. These events will be highly competitive and will provide a great spectacle for those in attendance.
